Community Guidelines & Safety Policy

PopIn is a live-streaming community built on real human connection. These Guidelines exist to protect everyone — creators, viewers, and our team — while ensuring that authentic creativity thrives.

By using PopIn, you agree to follow these Guidelines in all content you create, comments you post, and interactions you have on the platform.

1. Core Community Standards

We celebrate and support authentic live conversations, creative expression, supportive gifting, and respectful, inclusive interaction across all cultures and languages.

2. 🚨 Zero Tolerance: Absolute Violations

The following behaviors result in **IMMEDIATE PERMANENT ACCOUNT TERMINATION** with no possibility of appeal, and mandatory law enforcement referral. These rules apply to all users, creators, and viewers without exception, as required by Apple App Store Review Guidelines §1.2:

  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any content that sexually exploits, depicts, or endangers minors. We report all CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
  • Grooming Behavior: Attempting to build inappropriate relationships with or solicit minors, including via DMs, gift incentives, or live streams.
  • Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery: Sharing or requesting intimate photos of another person without explicit consent.
  • Terrorist or Extremist Content: Promoting, recruiting for, or supporting terrorist organizations, mass violence, or genocide.
  • Coordinated Harassment: Organizing campaigns to target, abuse, or raid another creator's stream.

3. Content Prohibitions

  • Sexual Content & Nudity: Nudity, pornography, and suggestive clothing or behavior are prohibited across live feeds, profile assets, and chat logs.
  • Harassment & Bullying: Bullying, personal attacks, hate raids, or releasing private info (doxxing) is not tolerated.
  • Hate Speech: Demeaning or promoting hatred based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age.
  • Harmful & Dangerous Content: Self-harm promotion, suicide instruction, dangerous stunts, and health or vaccine misinformation.
  • Spam & Scams: Bot manipulation, fake giveaways, financial scams, and impersonating other creators or PopIn staff.

4. Enforcement & Consequences

Our Trust & Safety team reviews reports 24/7 and applies enforcement based on severity:

  • Minor Violations: First offense results in a warning and content removal; repeat offenses lead to a temporary suspension (1-7 days).
  • Moderate Violations: First offense results in a 30-day suspension; repeated instances lead to a permanent ban.
  • Severe Violations: First offense results in an immediate permanent ban, forfeiture of PopCoins/Diamonds, and law enforcement referral.

5. Creator Responsibilities

Creators are responsible for moderating their own stream chat environment, appointing trusted moderators to manage large audiences, and disclosing paid promotions or sponsorships clearly.

6. Reporting and Appeals

Users can report any stream or comment instantly via the in-app flag icon (⚑). If you believe an enforcement action was made in error (except CSAM violations), you can submit an appeal within 14 days to support@wepopin.app with the subject line APPEAL: [username].
